Flat Panel Monitor Mount Using Computer Monitor As TV?

Using computer monitor as TV? - flat panel monitor mount

Can I use my computer monitor as TV? This is a 17-inch flat screen monitor, so I intend, mounted on a wall. I want to be able to use the TV screen base, such as cable, DVDs and games on an Xbox 360

Is this possible?

Thanks

To use the LCD screen to watch cable TV, which are meeting the minimum requirements:

1 - The LCD monitor should be HDCP-compatible, and either a DVI or HDMI.

2 - The cable box should be an area of high-definition digital cable with a DVI or HDMI.

3 - If the monitor has no speakers, you must set the cable box to connect a speaker for audio.

Note: DVI and HDMI are compatible. If your monitor has DVI and HDMI cable HD box, you can connect the two with a DVI-HDMI cable.

Hope this helps.

Edited to add:

Ixnay on the analog. You of course know that the FCC, the end of the broadcast analog TV signals ordered in 2009, is not it? You'd better contact your cable company and a picture of high-definition digital cable.

When you go for watching DVD movies the movie, you use your Xbox 360 for it. And you can your Xbox 360 on the screen in conjunction with the VGA Cable Xbox HDAV.

The HDAV Xbox VGA cable is in some 3rd Available: http://www.newegg. com / products / Product.as ...

Or you can use the Microsoft OEM spec this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as ...

With the Xbox port of your HP w1707 VGA, DVI video output to a digital decoder for HD cable.
